I believe my background and experience will allow me to immediately get to work fixing the city’s problems and adjusting our priorities.

I’ll be letting you know what I think about the issues that matter most in Tacoma, and of events where you can get to know me in person.

On February 13th, 2009 I announced that I am running for the District 5 seat on the Tacoma City Council, which is open due to term-limits.

After much thought and discussion with many neighbors throughout District 5, Beckie has decided to run for Tacoma City Council District 5 in 2009.
